In addition to numerous new gem cuts, Jewelcrafting is another profession that's getting some new mounts in Mists of Pandaria! While the Pandaren trainer is located in the Jade Forest, which is closed in this current build, we've datamined all the new cuts and mounts. Of special note with gem cuts: perfect gems seem stronger than ever--they're equally as good as the stats from rare-quality gems.

1. New Mounts

Jeweled Onyx Panther is a new flying panther mount made by Jewelcrafters. It appears to be crafted by fusing together four other new Jewelcrafting mounts: Dawnstone Panther, Emerald Panther, Ruby Panther, Sapphire Panther. They each take 5x Living Stone--based on the vendor sell price, they seem pretty expensive and/or rare.

2. Daily Quests and Reagents

The Finer Things is a template daily quest for Jewelcrafting in Mists of Pandaria. Players turn in 3x Reckless Vermilion Onyx to an NPC in Vale of Eternal Blossoms, in exchange for Zen Jewelcrafter's Token. It also appears that the Jewelcrafting trainer is in the Jade Forest, according to NPCs that give directions, which is under construction.

Uncut datamined gems so far include:

Green quality: Tiger Opal, Lapis Lazuli, Sunstone, Roguestone, Pandarian Garnet, Alexandrite.

Blue quality: Primordial Ruby, River's Heart, Wild Jade, Vermilion Onyx, Imperial Amethyst, Sun's Radiance.

Epic quality: Zyanite, Adventurine, Sardonyx. No uncut epic gems actually datamined, just inferred from the names of cut epic gems. Red, yellow, and blue epic gems have not yet been datamined.

Meta: Primal Diamond

Jewelcrafter-only: Serpent's Eye. It appears you can now only equip 2 of them now, instead of 3.
